Publikace reflektuje aktuální podobu jazykové situace a církevního diskurzu, tedy jazykový a sociálně-historický rámec komunikace v církvích na českém Těšínsku. Autoři se věnovali především studiu historického vývoje Římskokatolické církve a Slezské církve evangelické augsburského vyznání a prohloubení aktuální problematiky týkající se jazykových kontaktů realizovaných v různých typech komunikačních situací v obou církvích, jež v náboženském životě obyvatel sledovaného subregionu sehrály významnou roli. Uvedené pojetí jazykové situace a diskurzu zohledňuje vybrané aspekty tří základních rovin zkoumané problematiky – historické, jazykové a sociolingvistické.
Religious discourse in the broader sociohistorical context of the Czech part of the Těšín region
The publication reflects the current language situation and the state of religious discourse, i.e. the linguistic and sociohistorical framework for communication in the churches in the Czech part of the Těšín region. The authors focus mainly on the analysis of the historical development of the Roman Cath¬olic Church and the Silesian Church of the Evangelical Augsburg Confession with the aim to offer a deeper insight into the current issue of language contacts realised in the various types of communication situations playing an important role in the religious life of the inhabitants of the subregion that was subject to our study. The concept of the language situation and discourse take into account certain aspects of three basic levels – historical, language and sociolinguistic.
